Change or verify your phone number (SMS or Telegram)

Add or verify your phone number with the SMS or Telegram code.

  1. Step 1

    Open Security

    Open "More" (on desktop, the sidebar) and under "Account" tap "Security".

  2. Step 2

    Open the phone card

    In "Email and phone", tap "Phone number". The card "Change phone number" opens.

  3. Step 3

    Enter the number

    Pick your "Country code" and type the number in "New phone number", without the leading zero.

  4. Step 4

    Send the code

    Tap "Send verification code". The card says where the code went.

  5. Step 5

    SMS path

    If the code was texted, type the six digits in "Six-digit SMS code".

    ExampleThe code was sent by SMS to this number.

  6. Step 6

    Telegram path

    If the card says "Open Telegram — your verification code was sent there", open your chat with the Sigrah bot.

  7. Step 7

    Share your number

    In that chat, tap "Share my number".

  8. Step 8

    Enter the Telegram code

    Type the bot's code in "Six-digit Telegram code".

  9. Step 9

    Verify

    Tap "Verify new number".

Result

The number is registered and verified. That row's chip turns to "Verified".
