Switch copy trading on for an approved MT5 account

Switch copy on for an approved MT5 account so a copy bot can use it.

  1. Step 1

    Open your panel

    Sign in. On a phone tap "More"; on a computer use the sidebar.

  2. Step 2

    Go to MT5

    Under "Trading tools" open "MT5". The MT5 trading accounts page opens.

  3. Step 3

    Find your account card

    On that page go to the "Registered accounts" section and find your account.

  4. Step 4

    Check the two pills

    The card needs both "Admin approved" and "Connected". If either is missing, switching copy on will not go through.

  5. Step 5

    Press Enable copy

    At the bottom of that card, beside "Disconnect", press "Enable copy". If it already reads "Disable copy", copy is already on.

  6. Step 6

    Watch the confirmation

    "Account settings updated." appears at the top of the page and the button label flips.

Result

Copy is on for this account and a copy bot can use it. When you create a bot in "Copy Trade", the account is selectable under "Which account executes?".
