Your MetaTrader went offline — get copying working again

Find why your bot stopped executing and get MetaTrader reporting to Sigrah again.

  1. Step 1

    Open More

    signed in, tap More; on desktop the same groups sit in the sidebar.

  2. Step 2

    Go to Copy Trade

    under Trading tools, open Copy Trade.

  3. Step 3

    Read the warning card

    tap the card at the top: it names the bot and how long it has been silent.

  4. Step 4

    Open the bot

    the bot page repeats it and counts the signals that were not copied.

  5. Step 5

    Go to the MetaTrader computer

    MetaTrader must be open and running on that machine.

  6. Step 6

    Check the account

    it must be signed in to the same MetaTrader account the bot runs on.

    Read the Experts tab

    open the Experts tab at the bottom; every line that explains the problem starts with

    Allow the Sigrah address

    if a line says the request was blocked, add your Sigrah address under Tools > Options > Expert Advisors, to the list

  9. Step 9

    Put the agent on a chart

    if no chart is running it, drag the agent from Navigator onto one chart and load

    Examplesigrah-copy-trade.set

  10. Step 10

    Turn Algo Trading on

    press Algo Trading in the MetaTrader toolbar; while it is off, no trade is placed.

  11. Step 11

    Reload the bot page

    a minute later MetaTrader connection reads Connected and the badge reads Copying.

Result

Sigrah hears from your MetaTrader again and the bot copies new signals as they arrive. What it missed while silent stays missed: those signals are not replayed.
