Move the stop loss or take profit on a live signal
Change the stop loss or take profit on a signal you already published.
- Step 1
Open Signals
in the panel, go to Signals.
Example
/signals - Step 2
Find the signal
on the Active tab, tap the signal's card. A partly closed one is not on that tab; it sits under All.
- Step 3
Check the status chip
it must read Active or Partially closed. Only those two states can have a level moved.
- Step 4
Scroll to Manage signal
the Manage signal card sits below Exit levels.
- Step 5
Choose the command
in its dropdown pick Modify stop loss or Modify take profit.
- Step 6
Type the new price
put the number in the Price box: on a buy the stop goes below entry and the target above it, on a sell the other way round. A stop at entry (breakeven) or beyond is refused.
- Step 7
Submit the command
press Submit command. It asks for no confirmation, and Note or reason is not sent with this command.
Result
"Signal command recorded." appears. The new price replaces that side's whole ladder in Exit levels: one level, closing everything still open. Subscribers are notified in the same moment, and their copy bots receive the new level.
